Marco has renovated and expanded his parents' old coffee terrain. He studied agricultural sciences and has been involved with coffee in theory for some time. For a long time, he decided against growing coffee because it was uneconomical. But three years ago he plucked up the courage and planted the plot first with Catuaí, then also with complicated varieties such as Geisha and Pacamara.
He named the plot after his daughter Genesis. 2023 was his first harvest year.
He has already taken part in the "Best of Bolivia" competition in Bolivia with his naturally anaerobically processed Catuaí and won 2nd place with his coffee.
An independent jury in Germany also awarded the coffee the rating "excellent".
